This Rapid Evidence Assessment (REA) evaluates the latest evidence from 20 research papers on the health and social impacts of reformulation interventions on the UK population. The selected studies analyse policies including the Salt Reduction Programme, the Public Health Responsibility Deal, the Soft Drinks Industry Levy, and the Sugar Reduction Programme. The REA is structured into sections covering modelling studies, impacts of different policy designs, effects on children's health, socioeconomic disparities, and public acceptance and awareness, alongside an assessment of robustness and relevance. The findings inform policy recommendations and highlight areas for further research.

This document was produced as an assignment for the FPM001 Food and Public Policy module undertaken at the Centre for Food Policy, City St Georges, University of London. The document has been written to address a marking criteria and learning outcomes.
